A handcrafted Windsor chair exhibits the warmth and character of the artist who creates it. The subtle tell-tale signs: the unique blade-cut facets, the organic tones, the imperfect symmetry, all combine to embody the chair with its own individual personality and spirit.
However, I do make a wider variety of chairs, and am always exploring new shapes and forms. Sometimes these are ‘one offs’ and often bespoke commissions. To see my current work and pieces that I’ve created in the past, its best to explore via my instagram feed @hopespringschairs.

When you commission a chair from me, I endeavour to make you a chair that’s unique, even if thats just a small detail……
My chairs can cost between £500 and £2000, and can be viewed by appointment at a nearby studio. I also make stools, tables, benches, settees, and outdoor furniture and am happy to work within a proposed budget. If there’s something I can make for you, please contact me.
